oxfordsecret

"You are invited to anonymously contribute a secret to a group art project. Your secret can be a regret, fear, betrayal, desire, confession, or childhood humiliation. Reveal
anything--as long as it is true and you have never shared it with anyone before. Be brief. Be legible. Be creative."

- Frank Warren

There is something cathartic about revealing a secret. You release a small part of you into an anonymous world, yet that impersonal honesty and vulnerability has the power to not only relieve a minor burden, but also create a bond with an entire community of people.

These secrets that have engulfed you--secrets you feel you are alone in possessing--can possibly find their mirrors in unexpected places. Only through sharing, can connections be made and healing begin.

The human condition is unique in that it thrives on reassurance and compassion. A simple act of reaching out or showing concern--even anonymously--has the power to give hope to the seemingly lost. You'll be surprised at how similar we all are.

Oxfordsecret is a project inspired by the original postsecret website.

Following in the footsteps of innovation and artistic expression, oxfordsecret aims to provide a completely anonymous, trusted outlet for students of Oxford Academy to release personal secrets--whether it be humorous, emotional, painful, or shocking--when they feel they are ready and need a release.

Take a chance, a leap of faith. Help yourself. Help others.
